How to Play

Participants can join the game by following these simple steps:

1. Download the GooseChase iOS or Android app

2. Choose to play as a guest, or register for a personal account with a username & password of your choice.

3. Search for and select the NSCC Orientation Scavenger Hunt game, or search by game code GD1MGJ.

4. Follow the prompts to select or create their player profile.

Contest Details & Regulations​

1. This competition is open only to NSCC students enrolled in full time or part time programs and have paid their Student Association fee.

2. Participants in this event acknowledge that images submitted may be used for promotional purposes by the NSCC Student Association which may include usage on this website and social media channels.

3. In all instances in which a random draw is required, the website namepickerninja.com will be used to perform the draw. All draws will be posted on the Student Life Facebook page.

4. Scores are tabulated by GooseChase as they are submitted. If there is an issue with submitting an answer, please contact Student Life via email at studentlife@nscc.ca for assistance.

5. Substitutions and/or cash value for prizes will not be considered.
   
   Prizes include:
    

   1. Tuition ​Credit

      1. Valued at up to $5000​

      2. Will be applied directly to the student's NSCC account

      3. Will be awarded to the student who has the highest score at the end of the scavenger hunt

      4. In the event that there is a tie, a winner will be selected by random draw from the students who are tied

   2. Laptop​

      1. One laptop will be awarded to a student at each campus​ (approximate value $800)​

      2. Students from each campus who have completed 50% of the missions will be pooled together and a winner will be drawn at random from each campus group. 

   3. Grocery Gift Cards

      1. $100 Superstore Gift Cards​

      2. 10 gift cards will be awarded

      3. All students who completed 50% of the missions will be entered into the draw for the gift cards 

   4. NSCC Bookstore Credits

      1. $100 NSCC Bookstore Gift Cards​

      2. 10 gift cards will be awarded

      3. All students who completed 50% of the missions will be entered into the draw for the gift cards
